PLS COO Speaks about Recent ACA Ruling

An appeals court found the individual mandate, the part that requires everyone to have health insurance, unconstitutional. But it did not throw out the entire law. WLOS News13 spoke to PLS COO Jackie Kiger on the ruling and how it will affect the ACA. Kiger states, “The bottom line is that the overall law is still in effect [for the ACA], and the many hundreds of thousands of people here in North Carolina who signed up to get their healthcare coverage for 2020 do not need to worry.”
