Nov. 9 Expunction CLE
On Nov. 9th from 8:30-11:45 am at The Van Winkle Law Firm, Pisgah Legal Services will co-host an Expunction CLE with the 28th Judicial District Bar and the Buncombe County Office of the Public Defender. We will focus on maximizing relief for those with prior contact with the justice system. The session will cover topics including: expunctions, certificates of relief, motions of appropriate relief, and juvenile expunctions.
Participants are eligible for 3 hours of CLE credit from the NC Bar. This CLE training is free to all current MAVL volunteers and to any new volunteer attorneys who sign on to take 2 pro bono cases through our MAVL program in the next year.
