Current Topics in Rental Housing CLE

Pisgah Legal Services’ Housing Program Director Ben Many will provide a CLE workshop on various issues related to assisting tenants of rental housing, including evictions, rent abatement, securing repairs, security deposit return, harassment or abuse, tenants breaking a lease, recovery of tenant property, and liability related to roommates. Participants will receive 2 hours of CLE credit. The CLE is free to any attorney who agrees to take two pro bono cases through the Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyer (MAVL) Program or to join the Pro Bono Hotline team. The CLE is $50 for attorneys who do not wish to volunteer. Lunch is provided with a $10 charge.
