HERE FOR JUSTICE… It signifies the commitment we have made to be here for people who can’t afford civil legal representation and a promise to our mountain communities who rely on us for help navigating uncertain times. Being here for justice is a vow to act as a resource for families in crisis who need professional advocates, and it’s a pledge to you, our friends and supporters, who stand with us as we remain steadfast in our dedication to this vital work.
This past year was filled with cautious optimism and nagging uncertainty. Vaccines became available and hopes soared, only to have variants delay our return to normal. Still, our staff and volunteers persevered, continuing to provide legal aid and anti-poverty services that so many people in our mountain region depend on.
With your support not only did we “hold the line” in 2021, Pisgah Legal expanded in both size and scope, launching new programs and assisting more people than ever before.
